Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week Day shift (5x8) contract in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive radiology team and earn a competitive weekly paycheck.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment settings for optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification (R) required.
- Active Iowa Radiologic Technologist license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience.
- BLS certification (AHA).
- Excellent technical and patient care skills.
