Pay Rate: $50 – $54 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Bad Axe, MI. The ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering comprehensive care to adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care based on hospital policies and procedures
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control standards
Requirements:
- Active RN license (MI) in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Med Surg setting
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
