This will be Monday through Friday, with Saturday work possible and as needed. The ideal candidate should possess their own tools and have a minimum of 3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and determined at the interview. If you have a CDL, that is a plus!
- Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, pump repairs, body repair, and replacing parts and components
- Services machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulic systems, mobile and stationary equipment
- Use computers to issue parts and update comments on work orders/task lists including diagnostic programs for engines and hydraulic systems, OEM, and brake systems
- Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations
- Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs
- Effectively communicates with co-workers in a positive manner
- Conduct DOT annual inspections
- Ensure that all equipment is functional before mobilization
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
