Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
• Handle various chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures
• Operate cleaning machinery including vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment to ensure optimal cleanliness
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting as needed to support facility upkeep
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, especially when handling heavy lifting or hazardous materials
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety protocol guidelines
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts
• Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning techniques
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork
• Prior experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
