Job Purpose
The Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance Specialist supports UAM’s quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs by assisting with oversight of internal quality processes and ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
Under the direction of the Director of Quality and Compliance, this role supports compliance with UAM manuals, export control regulations, OSHA requirements, applicable ASA and AFRA Best Management Practices, and internal company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements
This role ensures compliance with the following standards and regulations:
- UAM Quality Control Manual
- UAM Dismantling Manual
- UAM Safety Management System Manual
- UAM Export Control Manual
- BIS and Export Administration Regulations
- ITAR
- OFAC
- ASA 100 BMP
- AFRA BMP
- Assist in administering UAM’s quality assurance and export control programs.
- Support Quality and Compliance Management in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Complete required inspections, audits, and compliance reviews in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation related to audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality activities.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with UAM facilities and offsite projects to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
- Participate in training to remain current on regulatory updates and industry standards.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Adhere to all UAM policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with export control and dangerous goods regulations.
- Experience with internal and external quality, process, or safety audits.
- Knowledge of aircraft parts and aviation industry practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Results-driven with a strong attention to accuracy and compliance.
Salary : $18 - $20
