About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Part‑Time Recruitment & Orientation Specialist to join our Hamden office team. This position is responsible for both medical and non‑medical recruitment, ensuring smooth onboarding and orientation processes for new hires. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both in the office and in the field, representing the company at hiring events, hospitals, nursing schools, and community outreach programs.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for medical (CNA, HHA, PCA, nurses) and non‑medical roles.
- Conduct preliminary interviews and manage compliance documentation.
- Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
- Attend and represent the company at hiring events, hospitals, nursing schools, and community job fairs.
- Collaborate with HR and coordination teams to ensure seamless candidate endorsement.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.Provide a welcoming and professional experience for applicants throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
- 2 years of recruitment or HR experience preferred.
- Strong administrative skills and computer savvy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Positive, professional attitude with the ability to engage candidates in diverse settings.
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are an advantage.
Schedule & Location
- Part‑time position, based at Hamden Office – Sanford Street.
- Fieldwork required for events, hospital visits, and school outreach.
