Pharmacist - Retail Pharmacy - Iowa Methodist - PRN As Needed

SHIFT: PRN, varied as needed

We are seeking a dedicated, licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care—including both clinical and distributive services—to patients served within our health system. You’ll collaborate closely with providers and clinic staff to support optimal patient outcomes and ensure safe, effective medication use.

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience. Completion of an ASHP PGY-1 pharmacy residency in community practice or ambulatory care desirable

Experience: Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English

Proficiency in navigating the electronic medical record

• One or more years of community pharmacy experience preferred
• One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience desirable

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Must maintain a current license to practice pharmacy in Iowa and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners
• Must attain a license to practice pharmacy in Iowa within six months of employment if not currently licensed
• Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Iowa Pharmacist license is obtained
• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
