Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains relationships with members of the health care team by placing an emphasis on open communication

- Performs accurate data entry by selecting the correct drug product, interpreting sig codes, and entering all other prescription components
Education: Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English. Must have strong math skills with some basic algebra. Must type accurately and with moderate speed
Experience: Ability to work with computer systems required. 1 or more years of community pharmacy experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s): Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist-Intern (if enrolled in a college of pharmacy) with
the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, prior to commencement of employment. Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or other nationally recognized certification provider.
