Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial and diagnostic assessments; diagnose per DSM standards.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy, including crisis intervention.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and make referrals as needed.
- Engage collateral sources (family, friends, agencies) to support treatment.
- Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate care.
- May perform Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or court-related evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with treatment goals.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy with a clinical/mental health focus.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
- One year of experience with the site’s specific population preferred.
- Iowa: LISW, LMFT, LMHC
- Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT
- Wisconsin: LCSW, LMFT, LPC
