The Laboratory Courier’s primary responsibility is assisting in the safe and compliant transportation of clinical specimens for laboratory testing which includes specific clerical functions. This position is also responsible for transporting laboratory and hospital related items to clients and departments accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities
Specimen & Supply Transport
- Safely transports laboratory/pathology specimens between hospitals following established protocols and requirements
- Safely transport hospital related items for ancillary hospital departments
- Communicates changes or delays to transport items with clients and peers.
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Driving experience
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Basic computer skills such as e-mail
Other:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
