Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates Training Center BCLS, ACLS, and PALS programs.
- Develops course objectives and maintains course outlines and appropriate records.
- Recruits and evaluates instructional personnel.
- Maintains strong relationships and open communication lines with area services, health facilities, and agencies served by the Health Education Center.
- Maintains appropriate records and initiates and processes all forms necessary to function and meet national, state, and local regulations and requirements.
- Contributes to the annual budget process of the Health Education Center and operates within the budget's constraints.
- Promotes and supports the Health Education Center and its growth in all settings.
Education:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Associate's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paramedic or RN is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLSI)
- Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support Instructor (BSCLSI)
