UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. - PRN to assist with additional coverage for vacations, leaves, and access
- Concierge urgent care model
- Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
- No call requirements
- Work with experience staff
- No appointments necessary
- Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- Coverage to be provided Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Waverly, and Marshalltown Express Clinics
- Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures
- Excellent assessment skills
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide high quality care to all ages
- Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.)
- Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
