Responsibilities
- Deliver IV infusions, injections, and biologic therapies with precision and care
- Start and manage peripheral IVs and access ports, PICCs, and central lines
- Monitor patients closely, recognizing and responding to infusion reactions
- Educate patients and families, helping them feel informed and empowered
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless treatment
- Document care accurately and uphold the highest safety and quality standards
Education:
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
