Responsibilities
- Perform non-technical corrective and preventive maintenance, such as but not limited to: changing fluorescent lamps and light bulbs, unplugging water closets, replacing filters, exit light inspection, replacing ceiling tile
- Assist Maintenance Technicians and Carpenters as needed.
- Groundskeeping work including snow removal and vacation replacement hours
- Participate in training to begin understanding the principles of operation, and developing a good working knowledge of all the environmental systems such as plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems and associated equipment.
Education: High school graduate, graduate of technical program desirable
Licensure: Valid Iowa Driver’s License.
Experience: One year similar experience preferred
Skills/Abilities: Mechanical, electrical experience preferred
