Schedule: Full Time; Monday–Friday; rotating shifts of 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 7:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m., and 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Some early arrival may be needed for earlier scheduled procedures.
Grundy County Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Centralized Scheduler to support patient access and scheduling across hospital services and visiting specialty providers.

Responsibilities
- Schedule, cancel, and confirm appointments for hospital services and visiting specialty clinics.
- Provide friendly, timely support to patients, families, providers, and internal team members.
- Complete accurate patient registrations and verify required information for each visit.
- Review insurance eligibility and assist with authorization information before services are provided.
- Share important appointment, testing, and preparation details with patients and care teams.
- Help patients understand estimated financial responsibility in a clear and compassionate way.
- Support patient check-in by ensuring forms and documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate scheduling and registration information to support timely billing.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, clinical departments, and coworkers to support efficient patient flow.
- Follow privacy, compliance, and registration standards to protect patient information.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
- Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email and web browser.
