UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. UnityPoint Health - Sioux City offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department. Responsibilities
- Full-time position
- Evaluates and prepares patients for required anesthetic to be administered
- Administers anesthetics as required
- Performs post-anesthesia duties in accordance with departmental policies
- No OB
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses
- Board eligible or board certified
- Complies with criteria for recertification
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Eligible to work in the United States
