Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant role based in Des Moines, IA. The Administrative Assistant will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, organizing meetings, maintaining records, and handling confidential information. This position requires supporting team members and leadership with efficient communication and coordination, as well as ensuring smooth office operations. The Administrative Assistant will also provide excellent internal and external customer service while contributing to an organized and welcoming environment. This role works closely with our leaders and local colleges to schedule clinical experiences. The Administrative Assistant also facilitates our Daisy and Rose recognition programs.
Qualifications
- Administrative skills such as calendar management, scheduling, and documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently under minimal supervision
- Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role in healthcare is a plus
