IT Project Manager (Infrastructure / Cybersecurity) – Hybrid
We are hiring an IT Project Manager to lead execution of a large-scale network segmentation initiative across enterprise infrastructure and security environments. This role will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinating across multiple technical and operational teams to ensure successful implementation and transition to steady-state operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the integrated project plan across all segmentation phases: pre-enforcement, enforcement, validation, re-enforcement, and operational transition
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Information Security, Network Engineering, Telecom, and external vendors
- Lead project intake, kickoff sessions, working meetings, and executive status reporting
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions; drive mitigation and escalation as needed
- Ensure alignment with enterprise governance frameworks, standards, and approved project charters
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including milestones, metrics, decision logs, and completion criteria
- Support transition to steady-state operations, including ownership definition, change management, and enforcement processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience managing complex IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects in cross-functional environments
- Strong understanding of network segmentation and enterprise networking concepts (no hands-on configuration required)
- Expertise in project planning, execution, and stakeholder management
- Ability to create executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status communications
- Experience translating technical activities into clear business updates and decision support
- Comfortable working closely with engineering and operational teams
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on process, documentation, and delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, enterprise security programs)
- Exposure to Zero Trust and least privilege security models
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of IT project management experience
- OR
- Master’s degree with 4 years of IT project management experience
- Experience working with PMI process groups and knowledge areas required
Engagement Details
- Type: Contract (Staffing)
- Duration: May 2026 – May 2027
- Schedule: 40 hours/week
Work Model
- Hybrid role (~50%)
- Primarily remote with expectation to work onsite as required based on project needs
Salary : $60 - $70
