Unity Search has been exclusively retained by a successful family-owned Home Service business in the Irving/Las Colinas area in its search for a small company Controller.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all GL accounting, reconciliations, month end close, financial reporting, and ad hoc reporting for management
- Supervise a team of 4 that performs more accounting support (AP, AR, and Payroll) and some basic bookkeeping functions
- Coordinate with external CPA firm and prepare necessary schedules for their preparation of tax returns
- Participate in various special value-added projects to the business – such as process improvement, system optimization, renegotiating contracts with vendors, operational analysis, etc.
- Assist in continual improvement of processes and procedures for the company
- Perform various special projects for the CFO and President
Requirements:
- Accounting or Finance degree required
- 7 years accounting experience (and a good knowledge of accounting fundamentals) required
- Small to medium sized company experience will get first consideration
- Client requires a stable work history with limited job moves
- Leadership skills – role will supervise 4 people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
