Are victim advocacy and team leadership your calling? Unity House of Troy is seeking a Non-Residential Prevention Program Director to oversee a team supporting individuals impacted by domestic & sexual violence, particularly at the intersection of weapons violence. This role requires a thoughtful leader who can guide staff through complex cases while ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services.
Position may be eligible for a sign on bonus
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and oversight to staff supporting victims of domestic violence
- Guide staff through complex and high-risk cases and monitor case progress
- Assist staff with problem-solving, systems navigation, and resource coordination
- Ensure compliance with contracts, funding requirements, and regulatory standards
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Promote a culture of inclusion, belonging, and professional growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Valid and clean NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
