Unity Home Health Services Is Hiring Home Health Aides in ALL Areas!
Serving all Cleveland cities within Cuyahoga County
Unity Home Health Services is seeking compassionate, reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personal care and daily-living assistance to patients in their homes, following an established individualized care plan.
Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Status: Part-time or Full-time
Work Location: Patient homes throughout Cuyahoga County
Remote Work: No
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Home Health Aide certification required
- Must be from an approved program with a minimum of 75 hours and that meets CMS guidelines
- Demonstrated compassionate and sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Evidence of maturity and the ability to manage job demands effectively
- Willingness to participate in professional meetings as directed
- Must pass a criminal history check prior to permanent employment
- Able to work under close supervision to ensure competency in patient care
Physical Requirements
- Visual and hearing ability sufficient for verbal and written communication
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and long periods of standing
- Able to work at least 20 hours per week
- Able to bend/stand for an average of 6 hours per day
- Able to write for up to 3 hours per day
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced or stressful environment
- Must be able to get to and from work independently
- Able to communicate clearly with patients, co-workers, and the public
- Neat appearance and good personal hygiene required
