About The Role
The Senior Director of Channel Sales is a critical leadership role within Uniti, responsible for driving the growth and development of the channel sales program. This individual will lead a dynamic team of channel sales professionals and work closely with partners and resellers to expand Uniti’s market presence, enhance partner engagement, and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets for Uniti products and services.
- Manage and lead a team of channel sales managers and support staff, providing direction, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with key channel partners, understanding their business models, and aligning Uniti’s services to their needs to drive mutual growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other internal stakeholders to develop partner enablement programs that drive partner success.
- Monitor and analyze channel sales performance metrics to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and implement strategic adjustments.
- Oversee partner recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support to ensure a high level of partner satisfaction and performance.
- Represent Uniti at industry events, conferences, and through various forms of media to promote the brand and channel programs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements affecting channel partnerships.
- Manage channel sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control. Provide regular reporting on channel performance to senior leadership, along with insights and recommendations for continued improvement.
- Bachelor s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field master s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a significant portion in channel sales leadership within the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and driving growth through channel partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales performance analytics.
- Ability to travel is required for partner meetings, team management, and industry events.
- Passionate about technology and staying abreast of industry developments.
