Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cement Pump Operator, located in Bakersfield, CA. The Cement Pump Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used in cement pumping operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, monitoring the pumping process, ensuring accurate cement application, and complying with safety regulations. The role requires collaboration with a team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment used in cement and related operations
- Experience with tubing and cement applications, including handling and supervising materials
- Ability to perform equipment inspection and routine maintenance
- Experience with training and safety procedures in industrial or oilfield operations
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours and in varying weather conditions
- Previous experience in well service or a related field is a plus
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
