Job Title: Resource Development Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Resource Development & Finance/Database Manager

Location: Leesburg, Florida

Position Type: Full-time, Non-exempt, with remote days

Starting Salary: $45,000

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

The Resource Development Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Resource Development team, with a focus on gift processing, donor data management, and donor stewardship. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of donations, maintains the integrity of the donor database, and provides administrative and operational support to advance fundraising efforts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gift Processing & Data Management

  • Coordinate and support the processing of gifts, pledges, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and update donor records in Salesforce (or CRM), ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Track and reconcile donor gifts and pledges in collaboration with the finance team
  • Monitor and resolve gift processing issues as they arise
  • Support ongoing improvements to gift processing systems and workflows


Donor Stewardship & Support

  • Assist with donor acknowledgment processes, including thank-you letters and receipts
  • Support donor stewardship efforts through timely and accurate communication
  • Respond to basic donor inquiries and coordinate follow-up as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling donor information

 

Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Generate routine reports to support fundraising efforts and internal tracking
  • Assist with data entry, list management, and campaign tracking
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives, as assigned
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising campaigns and events


Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate gift reconciliation and reporting
  • Work closely with the Resource Development team to support fundraising initiatives
  • Serve as a reliable internal resource for donor and gift-related information


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required):

Education:

  • High School or GED diploma with three years’ related work experience in finance or business administration


Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to data integrity.
  • Exercises sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion, including the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Highly collaborative team player and self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and performs effectively under pressure while navigating unexpected challenges.
  • Committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.


Licenses/Transportation:

  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration
  • Nonprofit finance experience.
  • Exposure to auditing practices and principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management.


WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Some nights/weekends due to operational requirements
