Job Overview
The Director of Integrated Care is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants to combine direct client care, program leadership, and community collaboration.
The Director will provide behavioral health services while helping shape and strengthen THRiVE’s integrated-care model. Working closely with United Way of East Central Alabama, Interfaith Ministries of Calhoun County, and St. Michael’s Medical Clinic, this position will develop referral pathways, strengthen partnerships, identify gaps in care, and expand opportunities for accessible, coordinated services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy, behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
- Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload while leading the continued development of THRiVE.
- Build strong partnerships with medical providers, behavioral health professionals, nonprofits, and other community organizations.
- Coordinate behavioral health, medical, and social-service referrals to help clients navigate complex systems of care.
- Develop and strengthen program procedures, clinical protocols, referral pathways, and service-delivery strategies.
- Monitor program outcomes, quality, client access, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with program planning, funding strategies, grants, reporting, and long-term sustainability.
- Represent THRiVE in community partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related behavioral health field from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted Alabama license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Experience providing behavioral health assessments, psychotherapy, crisis response, and care coordination.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple organizations and disciplines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between partner locations in Calhoun County.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screening and background check before beginning employment.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
