POSITION SUMMARY
The Resource Development Coordinator supports United Way of Cass-Clay’s mission by serving as the operational backbone of the Resource Development team. This role manages donor pledge administration and acknowledgements, supports organization-wide donor cultivation, maintains and analyzes fundraising data, oversees team administrative tasks, and supports projects . By ensuring data accuracy, efficient processes, and meaningful insights, the Coordinator strengthens relationships, maximizes revenue opportunities, and increases community impact. This is a 36-hour per week role with flexible work hours between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF POSITION
Data, Reporting, and Revenue Administration
- Manage updates, optimize systems, and ensure accuracy of CRM database and other data tools.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities to engage current investors, potential investors, and new businesses.
- Communicate directly with donors, companies, and payment processing contacts to resolve revenue collection and payment issues.
- Support efforts to maintain strong donor retention and minimize pledge loss through effective pledge and payment management.
- Assist in managing the organization’s billing and collection process to minimize campaign pledge loss.
- Prepare donor information ensuring accuracy, adhering to timelines, and amplifying gratitude.
Project and Campaign Coordination
- Provide project management support for Resource Development strategies and initiatives by maintaining timelines, coordinating logistics, and collaborating across departments.
- Provide project management, programing and engagement support for Lead UNITED.
- Lead the preparation, assembly, and organization of materials for trainings, events, campaign resources, and campaign packets.
- Maintain workplace campaign tools and resources that drive results and efficiencies for both workplace campaigns and United Way.
- Serve as the primary contact for Employee Campaign Coordinator communication and process development. Secure, support, engage, and train Employee Campaign Coordinators to ensure a successful campaign.
- Lead the scheduling of corporate campaign kick-off meetings while occasionally conducting these presentations to local businesses.
Organizational Support
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve Resource Development team processes.
- Actively network with community members to expand the reach of United Way of Cass-Clay.
- Successfully adhere to campaign timeline and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Resource Development Director and President & CEO.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements include:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or at least two years equivalent experience
