Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical records system
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
- Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed
- Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on mammography best practices

Required Skills:
- Strong attention to image quality and detail
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and mammographic positioning techniques
- Proficiency with digital mammography equipment and PACS systems
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required
- Texas MRT license required
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
- CPR certification (BLS) required
