Northwest Regional Surgery Center is looking for a full time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, compassionate, and eager to learn. You will be interfacing with patients, families, physicians, staff, and visitors of the surgery center. Responsible for Scheduling and Insurance Verification.

- Prepare charts for admission of patients.
- Admit patients and process their paperwork.
- Update patient demographics/information in system.
- Copy of patient information (identification and insurance cards).
- Collect money due and document in billing documents. Handle funds per office procedures.
- Prepare charts for upcoming surgeries.
- Verify Insurances
- General clerical duties.
- Answering phones and other supporting receptionist tasks.
- As Assigned by Business Office Manager
- Participate in USPI EDGE program.
- Relieve other business office functions, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience and/or training, Or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Communication skills: ability to effectively present information to patients, physicians, and other employees of surgery center. Basic math skills. Computer competency
