Momentum Foot and Ankle Clinic is looking for a personable and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler to be the first point of contact for our patients at our Michigan City & Chesterton clinics. The ideal candidate will manage patient check-ins and check-outs, schedule appointments, and ensure the clinic operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule patient appointments, ensuring compliance with daily appointment limits
- Verify insurance information and ensure pre-authorizations are completed
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with maintaining an organized and clean waiting area
- Provide administrative support as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or scheduler in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in using medical office software (EHR experience preferred)
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
