The Sanitation Team Member will ensure the quality of cleaning for each room of production while following all policies and procedures surrounding food safety.

The Sanitation Team Member will ensure the quality of cleaning for each room of production while following all policies and procedures surrounding food safety.
- Maintain and clean all equipment/machinery in production rooms
- Disassemble/reassemble and clean and sanitize machine parts
- Communicate with Sanitation Supervisor in regards to work related to issues
- Report any machinery problems to supervisor
- Perform all functions in the plant
- Trash removal
- Rinse floors and equipment
- Spray down equipment with Evirofoam
- Scrub equipment
- Final pre-op
- Squeegee floors
- Ensure and maintain a clean and safe food environment and ensure compliance with all requirements of programs and policies in maintaining a safe manufacturing environment
- Various other sanitation duties may be assigned by Sanitation Supervisor
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a strong work ethic along with a sense of urgency
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach on a daily basis
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work at a fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
- Some knowledge of lock out/tag out (LOTO) preferred
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
