Summary
The primary responsibility of the Oven Operator is to ensure that all products being cooked achieve specified requirements per the manufacturing order, recipe and quality control standards. He/She must be able to work alone and will be required to perform sanitation duties while properly monitoring the cooking process.

The primary responsibility of the Oven Operator is to ensure that all products being cooked achieve specified requirements per the manufacturing order, recipe and quality control standards. He/She must be able to work alone and will be required to perform sanitation duties while properly monitoring the cooking process.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify product to be cooked meet all specified guidelines per the manufacturing order and recipe
- Complete all HACCP paperwork
- Ensure all quality control procedures are performed before, during and after the cooking process to include documenting final cook temperature and placing monitoring probes into the product for constant monitoring during cool down
- Load and unload ovens with various types of product to include turkey and brisket racks (average rack holds approximately 700 lbs.)
- Push loaded racks into the cooler after the cooking process has been verified to ensure proper cool down
- Inspect ovens, ensuring they pass all pre-op (clean ovens) to include loading and inspecting smoke generators
- Monitor ovens to ensure fulfillment of cook cycle, to include maintaining smoke generators
- Coordinate repair of ovens with maintenance to ensure ovens are operating within specifications
- Help in Tortilla area as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available to work between the hours of 3:00pm-6:00am, depending on when work is finished
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
- Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, such as bending, lifting, standing, squatting, climbing, pulling, pushing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull items weighing up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
