We are seeking a Process Engineer at Minnesota Ore Operations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Daily process monitoring, hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with operating team
- Reviewing key performance indicators associated with the assigned area to provide technical guidance on operating and maintenance practices to support productivity, efficiency and quality
- Implementing projects to improve the competitiveness of the operation while establishing and managing project milestones and resource requirements
- Utilizing data to assist with business planning and forecasting
- Driving culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices via the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary groups to drive results
- Excellent computer, communication and writing skills, as well as an interest in hands-on assignments in a manufacturing environment
- Capability to analyze, interpret and communicate process data
- Understanding of experimental design and analysis to test hypotheses
- Ability to apply statistical methods and analysis to data
- Safety as a core value in all aspects of work
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Minerals Processing Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or related scientific field
- This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

- The salary range of $71,009 to $106,514 is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
