The primary purpose of this position is to provide continuous, world-class infrastructure and base support in order to enable global Space Force mission Deltas and other space and homeland defense mission partners to conduct combat operations.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NJ-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include knowledge of governing supply regulations, procedures, and instructions. Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods. Knowledge of hazardous materials storage and handling processes, procedures, and Federal and State Environmental Protection Agency standards.

EDUCATION: Must successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your college transcripts with your application.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

- Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems.
- Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Ability to receive, screen, review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Skill in data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.

Responsibilities:
- Conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. Supports all warehouse functions not limited to the Hazmat, Central Storage, and the Classified Vault.
- Provides supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for equipment and/or parts requiring special handling.
- Determines stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion.
- Prepares recurring and special reports. Compiles statistics from data requiring substantial analysis, interpretation, and development of new formats.
- Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, related functions, and operating officials.
- Provides assistance to customers, storage depots, or other organizations. Distributes guideline updates and training material, electronically tracks and maintains receipt for reference purposes.
