Staff Assistant - Washington, DC

U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is seeking an engaging, enthusiastic, detail-oriented staff assistant for her Washington, DC office. The position’s primary responsibilities include greeting visitors and managing a steady flow of meetings through the office; answering phones and responding to voicemails; coordinating tours and other constituent services; and administrative tasks including assisting staff with technology and helping process expenses. Candidates should be dependable, organized, forward thinking, excel at multi-tasking, work well under pressure, and be a team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Customer service experience is an asset and Nevada ties strongly preferred. This is a fulltime, in-person, entry level position with a starting salary of $56,000/year based in Washington, DC.
