What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Press Secretary position at United States Senate?
Progressive Democratic Senator seeks a Deputy Press Secretary who can immediately contribute to a very fast-paced communications team. Duties include, but are not limited to, drafting press releases, pitching and responding to reporters, writing quotes and video scripts, advancing products through internal approval processes, and generating ideas to promote the Senator’s priorities. The ideal applicant is a creative, detail-oriented team player who works diligently under tight deadlines and delivers high-quality communications products. This is not an entry-level position; applicants must have at least one year of communications experience.
