Responsibilities
- Safely operate your delivery vehicle for delivery routes, in a variety of weather conditions.
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and carrying those packages to houses.
- Deliver parcels to designated rural addresses accurately and on time.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during route driving.
- Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update route information, and communicate with postal clerks and management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and a personal vehicle that you will be delivering parcels out of (company vehicle may be available, but is not promised)
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices - familiarity with Tetris a plus!
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly approach to interacting with customers during deliveries.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
