Officer Programs
College Graduates (Officer Candidates Course - OCC)
College graduates attend a 10-week Officer Candidates Course in Quantico, Virginia.
You'll be evaluated on:
- Leadership
- Physical fitness
- Decision making
- Mental resilience
- Ethical judgment
Graduation from OCC qualifies you to continue toward earning a commission as a United States Marine Officer.
Current College Students (Platoon Leaders Class - PLC)
Earn your commission without interrupting your education.
PLC allows full-time college students to attend Officer Candidates School during the summer while returning to campus each fall.
Program options include paid:
- Two 6-week summer sessions
- One 10-week summer session
Eligible students may also qualify for tuition assistance while completing their degree.
Law Students & Attorneys (Marine Judge Advocate Program)
Lead Marines while practicing law from day one.
Marine Judge Advocates immediately gain meaningful courtroom experience in areas including:

Basic Qualifications
