Role Description
This is a full-time Judge Advocate role for prospective and current law students, as well as law school graduates. Marine Corps Judge Advocates will provide legal counsel on a variety of matters, including military justice, administrative law, labor and employment law, and family law. Responsibilities include advising commanders, preparing legal documentation, conducting legal research, representing clients in proceedings, and addressing a wide range of legal issues. This role requires professionalism, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Currently accepted, enrolled, or a graduate of a law school
- Proficiency in analyzing and addressing complex Legal Issues
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Licensed to practice law in the United States and member in good standing with a State Bar
- Completion of Marine Corps Officer Candidate School is required
- Physically and mentally fit.
