Job Description:
The Data Governance Analyst will be a key contributor to the implementation of Data Governance strategy. Reporting to the VP, Data Governance, this newly created role works closely with Strategic Analytics, IT, Data Engineering, and business SMEs across lines of business, advisory services, and corporate functions
.Through these partnerships, the Data Governance Analyst will support the rollout of Master Data Management (MDM) program, data catalog, and data governance policies and standards. This role will also help build data literacy and engagement across the enterprise

Key Responsibilitie

Maintain and evolve Data Governance PMO artifacts using Smartsheet and/or Ji - ra.Facilitate workshops with data owners and stewards for data discovery, definition, requirements gathering, and CRUD (Create, Review, Update, Deprecate) process desi
- gn.Translate workshop outputs into current- and future-state data models, data flows, and CRUD process diagra
- ms.Produce clear, well-structured documentation, including data requirements, epics/user stories, CRUD process documentation, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and test scrip
- ts.Partner with IT and Data Engineering to ensure alignment among MDM, metadata, and upstream/downstream data pipelin
- es.Configure, test, and deploy CRUD workflows and technical specifications in Syncari in accordance with SDLC standar
- ds.Define and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling procedur
- es.Train and support Data Stewards on maintaining CRUD processes, metadata, and data catalog entries; help facilitate Data Governance Counci
