Position Summary:
Our Tire Shop Foreman is responsible for planning, scheduling, preforming, directing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of equipment. Will provide shop support and work with employees on training and improving the workflow of the service center.
Responsibilities:
• Service and maintain all shop equipment
• Inspects vehicles/equipment to diagnose problems and determine repairs as needed
• Issues repair orders; directs and/or performs the maintenance
• Supervises daily Service Center activities
• Supervises shop personnel providing support with technical installations
• Oversee the parts inventory maintained and used in the shop
• May answer phones and provide customer service
• Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers
• Assures productivity standards are met
• Trains employees on new products and safety procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• Ability to communicate in a professional and tactful manner to coworkers and customers
• Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
• Ability to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
• Willingness to accept additional tasks, duties, and/or direction from management
• Ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 1-3 years of shop/mechanical experience
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
• This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse extreme weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust.
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
• Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
