Security Officer

Location: San Antonio, TX 78216

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

We are currently looking for dependable and professional Security Officers to assist with coverage at multiple properties throughout the San Antonio area. This is an as-needed position with opportunities for overtime depending on staffing and operational needs.

This role is best suited for someone who is flexible, reliable, and comfortable working in different environments while maintaining a professional presence at all times. Perfect opportunity for students wanting to work during the summer break!

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by golf cart
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter trespassing, theft, and other unwanted activity
• Monitor assigned properties and report unusual or suspicious activity
• Enforce property rules and site procedures
• Interact professionally with tenants, residents, visitors, and vendors
• Respond to incidents and notify management or emergency services when necessary
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and on time

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• No visible face, neck, or hand tattoos

Preferred Experience

• Security experience in office buildings, commercial properties, or Class A environments
• Familiarity with access control systems or visitor management software
• Military or law enforcement experience is a plus

Work Environment
