Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Sales Analyst to join our growing food manufacturing company. This role will report to the Head of Sales. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, sales reporting, and market insights to identify growth opportunities, improve sales performance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, excellent communication abilities, and experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Sales to support strategic initiatives and improve overall sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market insights to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance sales dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support informed business decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain sales databases, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer and sales information.
  • Create and optimize reporting structures that meet the evolving needs of the sales organization and leadership team.
  • Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking activities through data analysis and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to address business needs and improve processes.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate trends, risks, and business opportunities to management as needed.
  • Provide analytical support to the Sales Team by delivering actionable insights and recommendations that drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
  • Maintain and manage customer, product, and sales data within ERP and CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in evaluating customer financial performance, including sales trends, margins, profitability, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects to support business planning, sales strategy, and organizational objectives.
  • Perform administrative and operational support tasks as required to ensure the efficient functioning of the sales organization.


Qualifications

•                 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

•                 3–5 years of experience in sales analysis, sales operations, business analytics, revenue management, or a related analytical role, preferably in food manufacturing.

•                 Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

•                 Experience analyzing sales data, customer performance, pricing, promotions, margins, profitability, and forecasting.

•                 Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

•                 Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage competing priorities.

•                 Willing to travel up to 25% (including nights and weekends)


Soft Skills

•                 Experience in a sales‑driven environment.

•                 Background in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.

•                 Knowledge of order processing systems or ERP platforms.

•                 Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is a plus. 


Pay: Starting $65k
