Job description
We’re looking for a compassionate caregiver to support a client in White Rock who has Alzheimer’s. The client needs help with walking and balance, fall prevention, and companionship. The caregiver will encourage safe mobility and follow the care plan. If the client has prescribed physical therapy exercises, the caregiver may assist as directed by the physical therapist.
Requirements
- Experience caring for older adults or clients with Alzheimer’s preferred
- Comfortable assisting with walking and providing safety supervision
- Able to support fall prevention and follow care instructions
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate
- Able to provide companionship and communicate clearly
- Physical therapy or caregiving experience is a plus
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
