Full Time | Night Shift | 12am-8am Monday-Friday

** Pay rate between $16.64-$17.80/hour**

UMC is currently seeking a Security Receptionist for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements for a Security Receptionist:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of general clerical, telephonetyping experience
• Some work experience as a security guard, watch person, firefighter or police o?cer preferred

Responsibilities for a Security Receptionist:

• Operates switchboard and answers all incoming calls in a timely/professional manner.
• May make scheduled walkthroughs performing various activities such as turning o? lights/fans, securing exterior doors, etc. and is alert to any breach of security.
• Reports any unusual conditions or malfunctions of building, i.e., het, plumbing, electrical systems, etc. and notifies appropriate personnel.
• Manages emergency response call system.
• Greets visitors and ascertains the nature of their visit; directs visitors appropriately.
• Various clerical duties as assigned. May open, sort and distribute mail. Hands out employment applications.
• Maintains logs related to front desk activities.
• Monitors security cameras.
