Under the direction and supervision of the Lead Referral Coordinator, ensures the timely referrals of the area where assigned following the approved protocols established to monitor the referral process. Ensures complete and accurate registration, including patient demographic and current insurance information. Responsible in carrying out all duties for the smooth operation of the assigned unit as demonstrated by approved competency assessment guidelines. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations PCMH, DSHS, HRSA and QI/QA standards. Requirements
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: At least one to two years in a clerical position, preferably in a healthcare environment; knowledgeable in medical terminology.
