Key Responsibilities
- Implement and evaluate nursing programs and activities
- Provide staff education and participate in disciplinary actions
- Evaluate clinical skills and guide head nurses
- Ensure proper documentation and promote cost containment
- Participate in surveys and report findings to leadership
- Maintain open communication with staff, residents, and families
Education & Experience
- Current NY State RN license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 3–5 years progressive clinical nursing experience, including supervision
- Minimum 1 year in a nursing home supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of federal/state regulations and nursing standards
- Long-term care experience a plus
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and lifting
