Position Overview
The Head of Compensation is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's compensation programs. This role ensures that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The role will provide expert guidance on base pay, incentive plans, job evaluations, and market pricing, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

$54.17 - $81.25 per hour, depending on experience

Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in compensation
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in compensation analytics and modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders
  • Experience with compensation systems and tools (e.g., Workday, Payscale, or similar platforms)
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations (FLSA, Equal Pay Act, etc.)
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Experience in a complex, multi-site organization
  • Familiarity with executive compensation and equity programs
Licensure and/or Certifications
Preferred:
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation required
