## Description

  • United Grain Corporation **is looking for a skilled **Help Desk Technician** in our IT Department. This is a full-time hybrid role working on-site at our corporate office Mon, Tues, and Thurs. and remotely Wed and Fri. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for being the first point of contact for UGC staff seeking technical assistance. This role is responsible for providing technical support via phone, email, Teams, and in-person for all locations. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues, interacting directly with the end user in meeting requests, help-desk tickets, training, monitoring, maintaining hardware and software functionality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

## Qualifications

**[Required Education and Experience]{.underline}**

High school diploma or GED and three to five years of post-high school training or equivalent experience in a related field required.

A college or IT trade school degree is desired.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365) administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and experience managing users, groups, and licenses in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

Familiarity with on-premises Active Directory: user account creation, group policy management, OU structure.

A or comparable hardware certification is desired.

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently at times.

Enthusiastic to learn new skills and support unfamiliar technology quickly while providing excellent customer service to end users by patiently and calmly problem-solving and using analytical skills.

The ability to work in a hybrid environment, both onsite and remotely, as well as travel between locations, is needed.

Expressing or exchanging ideas in English by means of the spoken word and written format.

A ility to use sound judgement, discretion, and escalate issues, as appropriate to IT leadership.

Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information.

This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and verbal operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies, and memos, and to communicate clearly with your employees.
