**Responsibilities**
- Perform precision assembly of complex fluid systems, including pneumatic components, according to engineering drawings, CAD models, and work instructions.
- Collaborate directly with engineers to provide feedback on design for manufacturability, refine assembly procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Execute precision cleaning of fluid system components and maintain a meticulously clean work environment in accordance with 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and ESD standards.
- Follow and meticulously document all build steps, identify and report any discrepancies to engineering, and perform verifications to ensure quality and compliance.
- Safely work with and handle high-pressure pneumatics, as well as hazardous fluids and chemicals.
- Utilize precision measurement tools, including torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers, to ensure all assemblies meet exact specifications.
- 3 years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment, with **at least 2 years of that experience focused on the precision assembly of complex fluid systems** (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic, or propellant systems).
- Demonstrated experience with aerospace-grade fluid system components, including fittings, threads, seals, and valves.
- Experience working with high-pressure, cryogenic, or oxygen-service hardware and a deep understanding of associated contamination control (FOD) requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches) and standard mechanical tools.
- Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Direct experience with launch vehicle or rocket propulsion system assembly, integration, and testing.
- Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants (e.g., cryogenics, RP, hydrogen peroxide).
- Deep understanding of pressurized system safety for pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience performing precision assembly in a clean room environment.
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts) around flight-critical hardware.

- Level 2 Range: $30.58 - $45.87
- Level 3 Range: $38.22 - $57.31
- Level 4 Range: $46.68 = $70.05
