This role provides on-call support for the daily operations of the market office. You’ll assist with administrative functions, guest services, and financial processes while helping ensure smooth operations across the market.
On-Call Scheduling:
This is an on-call position. Team members are contacted as needed to cover shifts, peak business days, or call-offs. While some shifts may be scheduled in advance, availability for short-notice coverage is important. This role does not guarantee a set number of hours per week.
Administrative Duties
- Provide support to upper management
- Answer and manage multiple phone lines professionally
- Communicate via phone and radio with staff and vendors
- Assist with opening and closing office procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to guests, vendors, and team members
- Maintain office supply inventory and order as needed
- Troubleshoot and manage office equipment
- Handle returned checks and vendor filing
- Assist with reports, memos, data entry, and presentations
- Complete general computer and clerical tasks
Cash Management
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable
- Support daily deposits and change orders
- Balance safe and petty cash
- Check banks in/out
- Complete deposits on market days
